Okay, so I decide to go and hit the town after being out of the “scene” for awhile writing a book and recording a CD and oh yeah, having twins…. Can I tell you.. what a snoozer this party was. I got all dressed up and patiently waited in traffic to walk into one of the most boring parties of my life. Is it just me? Am I over it or is it the economy? Have people forgotten what it is like to have real fun? Any comments would be appreciated since I am now wondering if I have truly gotten old!

With such wonderful twins at home to add deep meaning to your life, parties must seem superficial. I’ve always hated them, but I have social obligations. I often try to find excuses not to attend parties. You have a good one now. It’s much better to be home with the twins than to be at parties I’m sure.

granted, I’m just a big geek and have never been part of the “party” scene. but it seems to me that its really about the people you’re with….
I rarely attend parties. My lover and I prefer to be home with one another most of the time. I liked parties better when I was boy, but I just outgrew them. This is not a sign you are old. It may be you just have a different sense of priorities now with the twins at home. I have no kids yet, but my nieces and nephews love me. Dad said they like me more than their parents. I think your twins would like me too. I would rather be with your twins, my baby nephew and my lover than at a party.
I don’t know how old this post is, I’ve never wronte anything to anyone online (other than a email).I’ve had the whiskey girl ringtone on my phone for many years without change. I feel sort of dumb writing this because I know it will probably never get to you. It is late and I hope the best for everyone.
You certainly do not look old in the latest photographs I saw of you. People at parties can be so superficial. I have never cared much for parties, and I am not so old. I leave such activities to Hugh Hefner who is old but immature. I am a Registered Nurse who often works double shifts, and that leaves little time for parties. I think you just have much better things to do than attend parties.
